Today we head back to 1995 and reminisce about the 3rd worse expansion set we had the pleasure of opening as youngins. Ice Age was a definite step up in quality from Fallen Empires and a set I've grown to appreciate more over the years. Just ignore all of the underpowered spells with cumulative upkeeps, oppressive casting costs and paragraphs of nonsensical text. If you ignore all of those, it's actually pretty sick. We also bring back The Old Mage Commander corner and announce my 2024 Commander. This deck may turn out to be terrible, but it's going to be fun to build. Hope you enjoy!

Premodern Clerics Pt. 2 | The Old Men Magic Podcast Ep. 68

In today's episode, we bring to an end (for now) our discussion of clerics with a review of our favorite Premodern clerics in black. Plus some gold clerics, some green clerics, some blue clerics, some old-school clerics and some deck discussion. We talked for 2.5 hours and just scratched the surface, but we had to end it there because Alex needed to let his dog out and I had to make queso dip for the Taco Tuesday potluck at work. It turned out awful so I had to swing by Kroger the next morning for a few jars of Tostitos Salsa con Queso. It's made with real milk and cheese!!! You should try eating it cold if you haven't. It's delish.
